My client is one of the world s foremost hedge funds a market leader within the investment finance industry. Continual growth has seen the requirement for new hires in their IT group, particularly within their Risk Management and Database groups. They are looking for a Software Developer with strong SQL and VB.Net skills to join this highly experienced and successful IT group. The majority of the work will be on their Risk Management system though their will be opportunity to work within additional areas of the company when appropriate. My client is unique within the investment finance industry. A real emphasis on work-life balance (hours are 9-5) and genuine interest in the development of employees (with the encouragement of attending courses etc) make this company truly a fantastic employer. A heavy emphasis is put on personality; while technical skills are important so to is the ability to fit into their team environment and contribute positively to their growth. Candidates for this role are required to have strong technical skills. SQL and VB.Net development are primary to the position, and any experience in VBA (Excel), ASP, Crystal Reports, T-SQL are all relevant for this position.
